Saving Prized Underwear from Rust Stains

,

surprise rust stains from washer

If you've ever walked into a women's intimates section in a store then you know how expensive bras can be. Most of the items in that section can cost anywhere from $40-$75. So imagine my astonishment when I left my favorite bra out to dry and somehow a rusty nail fell on it, ruining the entire garment or so I thought.

I tried numerous home remedies that claimed to help remove rust stains from clothing. There was the cure that said to wash the product in bleach, the solution that said using hard water would help, and the one that said just buy another product. I didn't want to give up hope that there was something out there that could help save my favorite undergarment.

It was during one of my late night chats with my mom that the solution was discovered. My mom brought up the fact that she had purchased a new product called White Brite from the store. She said it mentioned that it would work at removing stains from clothes and she thought of my problem with the rust stain on my expensive bra.

The next day she brought the product over for me to try it out. The directions were extremely easy to understand and the process involved to remove rust stains from clothing was even easier. All I had to do was soak the clothing in the machine for an hour then wash as I normally would.

When the wash was done I anxiously awaited to see what the results would be. I was surprised to see that I couldn't even see where the old rust stain was on the garment of clothing. Even if I squinted really hard I couldn't tell.

After seeing the results from White Brite I think I'll try it on other clothing. I have a pile of dingy whites that I have never been able to get clean. The product claims to be able to remove hard water stains and yellowing, which is just what that pile of clothing needs. One clothing problem down another to tackle in the future!

Hot towel Japan (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Things spill ”” this is a fact of life. Whether you have kids or not, there will come a time that you will need to clean up a spill. Generally, when cleaning up, I grab the closest towel. Unfortunately, this can mean that I then need to deal with getting stains out of the towel. Far too often, the towel that I grab is white or light colored.

Removing stains from clothes is difficult enough, but when talking about towels, it gets even more frustrating. Towels are specifically made to be more absorbent, and because of this getting stains out becomes more difficult. I know how to remove hard water stains from clothing, and I can get ketchup out of a shirt without a problem. But I was stumped about stains on white towels.

I did a search to find the best clothing stain remover. Luckily, I found White Brite. Getting stains out with this product was a breeze. Even my towels were easily cleaned. With some of the more stubborn stains, I did a presoak. After letting the towels sit in the White Brite for just under half an hour, I threw them in the washer. They came out as good as new. They were better than they had been in a long time. Not only was I able to get rid of the stains, the white towels seemed brighter.

Finding the right product is not always easy. However, with White Brite, I know that I can quickly and easily get rid of any stains. From juice spills to hard water stains, and everything in between, I am thrilled with the way my clothes come out of the wash.

Staying Fashionable Without Worrying About Rust or Hard Water Stains

,

White jeans seemed to be the latest fashion trend. In an effort to be trendy I purchased several pairs of white jeans for my wardrobe. While these pants are extremely fashionable, they are also a pain to clean. Recently, a several pairs got a few rust stains and hard water stains on them after several washes.

I tried numerous suggestions on how to remove rust stains from clothing. I tried bleach, some odd mixture of household products and I even tried hand scrubbing the stains for several minutes. Nothing worked. I was about ready to just toss the jeans into what I call my dingy whites pile, when I discovered a solution – White Brite.

My mother recommended that I try a product that she found extremely successful. She said that she recently purchased White Brite and the product worked wonders when it comes to removing stains from clothes. She said she was able to successfully remove hardwater stains from clothing and even got pesky rust stains out.

Thinking that I had nothing to lose, as I had tried all my other ideas for getting stains out of my jeans, I decided to try White Brite. The product was extremely easy to use. I didn't have to scrub or spend hours watching the stain remove. All I had to do was soak the clothing in a combination of warm water and White Brite solution, then immediately wash the clothing as I normally would.

I was a little skeptical that the product would work. After all, anything that just required you to soak and wash couldn't possibly remove stains like it said, but I was proven wrong. When I removed the clothing from the dryer it was like someone waved a magic wand. All the rust and hard water stains disappeared.

White Brite has now become a regular staple in my laundry room, as it works wonders to remove clothing stains. I have used it numerous times to remove stains from clothing and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Winter is almost upon us and I have to admit that I look forward to pulling out my huge, fluffy white comforter. This thing has been my constant companion during the cold winter months and it really has kept me safe and warm. Well imagine my surprise when I pulled out the comforter and noticed huge, yellow stains from having used hard water to wash it.

I was extremely upset with the stains and wanted to find a way to remove hardwater stains from clothing. Everything I found suggested that removing strains from clothing wasn't as easy as it sounds. I was pretty devastated that there wasn't a clothing stain remover that would work at removing clothes stains.

I was complaining to my mom that I believed that my comforter was ruined, when she suggested that I try White Brite. She said that White Brite worked wonders and that it helped her remove rust stains from clothing. She recommended that I try it, as it said on the label that it worked on hard water stains.

I borrowed some of the product from my mom and went right to work. I really hoped that it would remove clothes stains. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. Just soak, wash and the stains would disappear.

I followed the instructions exactly and was amazed. My comforter looked white, bright and fluffy. I couldn't believe my eyes. Keeping Curtains Clean

,

Via Flickr by tauressDid you know that dust can stain white clothes? In fact, dust stains make white clothes dingy. I didn’t realize this until it was far too late – or so I thought.

I have white curtains. I’m a busy mom, and unfortunately, I don’t always get the dusting I want to do, done. There have been more than a few times where I realized it had been far too long since my window sills got the attention they needed. Eventually, I realized I needed a really good clothing stain remover. My regular detergent didn’t seem to do anything for these dingy whites; I needed something more focused.

I asked friend what they found was best for removing stains from clothes. I explained my situation, and what exactly I was looking for. A close friend suggested I try White Brite. She told me that it helps remove hardwater stains from clothing and clean up dingy whites. So I gave it a try.

Before I washed the curtains, they had a bit of a grey look to them. However, when the first wash was done, I could see significant improvement. White Brite was amazing!

Since using White Brite for my curtains, I also decided to try it on other dingy whites in the house. And, unsurprisingly, it worked just as well at removing hardwater stains from clothing and getting stains out of almost anything. I can even wash colors in this clothing stain remover; it is that gentle.

Any time someone asks me about how to get rid of dingy whites, I tell them exactly what my friend told me. I also tell them about my curtains. I was about to throw them away, and give up on white. Since I started using White Brite, I don’t have to consider that any longer.

Finding a product that is gentle enough to use on delicate clothes, but powerful enough to clean my husband’s t-shirts is not always easy. White Brite is the best of both worlds; I no longer have to search for two separate products when washing clothes. From curtains to underwear, and everything in between, White Brite is the stain remover I use now.

Saving My Daughter's White Choir Uniform Skirt

,

Image via Flickr by reconstructionist

The holidays have quickly come and gone, which meant it was time for me to pull out my daughter's choir uniform. Part of the choir uniform is a bright, white skirt. As luck would have it when I pulled the skirt out of storage it was completely covered with yellowish stains caused by washing it previously in hard water.

I was not looking forward to having to having to find another white skirt that matched her strict choir uniform, so I went on the search to find out how to remove hardwater stains from clothing. I spent several hours researching how to remove stains from clothes, and I found thousands.

I found thousands of suggestions on how I could go about getting stains out. Some called for me to use harsh bleach, others called for me to use an odd mix of lemon, vinegar and powdered soap. I tried anything that sounded realistic, but unfortunately nothing worked at removing clothing stains.

I was just at my wits end and believed I would never find a clothing stain remover that worked, when my husband found White Brite. He was shopping at the local grocery store when he saw it on display. It said that it worked at removing stains from clothes, especially if they were from hard water.

I figured I had nothing left to lose, as I was just about ready to toss the skirt in the dingy whites pile. The instructions were extremely easy to follow. All I had to do was soak the skirt in warm water and some White Brite, wash it like I would normally and – POOF – like magic the stains disappeared.

I was in complete shock. I didn't believe I was ever going to find a solution for how to remove clothing stains, especially hard water stains. Now, I found the solution and it has made my life a lot easier and my daughter's choir uniform will last another year!

Finding the Best Stain Remover

,

Via Flickr by Stacie Stacie Stacie

My kids and my husband love their t-shirts. However, I don’t like getting stains out of them. In fact, removing stains from clothes is my least favorite chore. Kids and husbands get dirty. It can be a huge pain to try to figure out how to get my white shirts whiter.

I tried everything, and nothing worked. It seemed like no matter what I did, the t-shirts were just dingy. They no longer looked white; instead, they were starting to look grey and yellowed.

On top of everything, hard water is not easy on clothes. I found this out the hard way. It is not easy to remove hardwater stains from clothing. Personally, I think this is because these stains build up over time. So, I started looking for a clothing stain remover that would get rid of all of the stains and dingy look on the shirts my family wears.

I searched online for how to get my white shirts whiter. Of course, I found all sorts of old wives tales and strange ways to remove stains from clothes. Some of them looked promising, and I will admit I tried a variety of these. Unfortunately, none of them worked. Sure, my clothes got clean, but the dingy whites were still dingy.

Eventually, I found a few different products. After trying everything, I found a clothing stain remover that does the trick. White Brite actually made my white clothes, dingy t-shirts, and hardwater stained linens look white again! I was thrilled.

The great part about White Brite is that it is easy to use. You don’t have to worry about scrubbing and all that nonsense. Instead, I put the White Brite in with my laundry and let it soak for a short amount of time. After adding in my normal detergent, I simply started the wash cycle. It was as easy as that.

Now I have decided to tell everyone about White Brite. It is simply the best stain remover I have found for white clothes, stained linens, and more.

Keeping White Chef Uniforms Clean and Bright

,

One of the biggest moments in a chef's career is earning your crisp, white chef's uniform, but let me tell you that thrill quickly wears off when you realize just how hard the uniform is to clean. I earned my chef's uniform and within six months I noticed the uniform was a magnet for all types of stains ranging from hard water stains to rust stains.

It wasn't even eight months after starting my first chef's job that I realized my dingy whites pile was quickly filling up with over a dozen chef jackets. I just had no idea how to remove hard water stains or rust stains from clothing.

I was about to go out and purchase several brand new white chef uniform jackets when I decided to do a little research into how to remove stains from clothing to see if I could find anything that would help me. Luckily, I found something that worked.

I was browsing a forum that was reserved for mothers looking into various alternative ways to clean their children's clothing. Many of the mothers were complaining that they couldn't seem to get rid of hard water stains, especially in white clothing. One mother suggested that they try a new product called White Brite.

I was eager to try the product to see if it worked. I purchased it from the local retail store and quickly got to work cleaning my dingy whites. The product was extremely easy to use. All I had to do was soak the whites in warm water with a half cup of the White Brite powder. After soaking I washed the clothes like normal. The results I saw were amazing.

After just one wash all the hard water stains and rust stains disappeared. I was able to save myself a lot of money by not having to purchase new chef jackets. White Brite is now a regular staple in my household and I will use it regularly to clean not only my chef uniform but all my whites.
